Detecting Colors
When taking my daily walks with the dogs around the town of Stornoway on Isle of Lewis, I decided one day to only focus on the colors that we came across. After a short while, I noticed how the colors began to manifest in an individual form and shape of their own.
They were no longer merely a color associated with the larger form of which they were attached. Our eyes so used to quickly asses that which is in front of us and make unconscious decisions as to their place in our immediate environment became apparent. Besides keeping the focus on what my two dogs found immensely interesting on their walk, also I enjoyed a special and colorful dimension of the otherwise often grey seaport of Stornoway.
